The File Submission System is a web-based program which allows
students to submit assigned programs (or other computer files)
to their instructor through a web page.
Instructors define the list of files required for each
assignment. This list is presented to students as form in a web
browser which the student uses to upload the files. They are stored
on the server until the instructor retrieves them.
The file
submission system is free software
available under the GNU Public License.
This page describes version 2.
The main change is to allow instructors full use of
the system through through a web browser.
This includes the ability to create and
manage assignments, and download submitted work.
