Mr. Jones' assignment has been stored on the server. After this and three more three more submissions, the the submission manager might show this:

The screen shows that four submissions are available. The simplest way to get them is to click [Get All]. Then the system will offer to download an archive, as:

Save it where you like. The archive contains four directories each named after students who made the four submissions. Within each directory are the files submitted.

Note that this example shows a Unix-style tar archive being downloaded. The submit system usually sends a ZIP archive, but it uses the compressed tar format if it thinks your client machine is Unix or Unix-like.
